Children Day is celebrated on the 14th November which marks the Birth Date of Shri. Jawaharlal Nehru, who was a great leader and the first prime minister of India.  He was a paramount leader of the Indian independence movement who worked passionately for the welfare of children and the youth soon after independence. He was passionate about welfare, education, and development of children in India. Pt. Nehru was very fond of children and thus became popular as “Chacha Nehru” among his young admirers.

At Hallmark Public School, we say that the real essence of children’s day is to understand the importance of childhood in our lives and how we all wish to go back to that era of our golden period and enjoy the tension-free days.  On this special occasion, the CBSE School postulates the principles and disciplines which a child learns during this time are responsible for what he or she becomes in the future. Thus it is very imperative for us to celebrate their childhood not just today but every day.  It is one such day that reminds us of schools and parents and adults to acknowledge all the children. This day is a reminder about children’s right to enjoy their childhood without any boundaries and to be given a quality education for a better life.
