Incorporating any theory in the academic curriculum takes a lot of trials. Many practical are also conducted which makes the learning for the students also easier. It makes them learn and remember things for a much longer time. Such an experiment was also conducted for the students in order to foster scientific temperament into them. The students under the guidance of their teachers built a kaleidoscope which works on the principle of multiple reflection of light.

The kaleidoscope was built using three pipes and each pipe had either lens, mirrors, bangles, beads or an electric LED. All the three pieces were connected in sequence. The second piece of PVC pipe worked as a connector. When LED was switched on, light fell on the circular glasses. The images of broken pieces of bangles and beads are formed in the prism. The convex lens magnifies these images and beautiful images were seen which can also be used to design patterns of the wallpapers and carpets.

The Science aspect consisted of the principle of reflection which was used to make the kaleidoscope work.  Using various PVC pipes as connectors, and LED constituted to the technological aspect. The engineering was learnt in the way the whole project actually worked, how the kaleidoscope was put to action. The images produced could be used for the entertainment and sheer enjoyment of beautiful images, and can also be used to design patterns of wallpapers and carpets. This constituted the art aspect. Usage of angles to produce a particular image made the students learn the importance of mathematics. The students were able to understand that every project takes into account the method of STEAM. We aim at making all the students learn the newest approaches and hence building up their intellect for them to become the future leaders.
