Inclusion and differentiation policies in school are implemented by the teachers in the classrooms to ensure that every student gets developed intellectually, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. These are the two methods of teaching that attempt to reach all types of students regardless of disability or skill level.

Hallmark Public School, best CBSE school Panchkula has brought to you both the aspects and methods of teaching instructions:

Differentiation Instruction(s)

It is a strategy implemented by teachers in the classroom in such a way that every student maximizes his potential for learning. The goal of the differentiation approach is to create learning environments, content, process, and products that enable all students to succeed with a meaningful curriculum. Every student is unique in his way; different abilities and passions, unique paths of learning styles, and growth.

Teachers are encouraged under the differentiation approach to give the students greater control over their learning. Pedagogies such as Project-based learning, inquiry learning, and expeditionary learning enable students for active learning and help students discover and develop their talents and interests.

Inclusion Model of Education

The inclusion method of teaching is constructed and developed for students with disabilities who require special individualized education programs. The inclusion model of education has two sub-types: Partial Inclusion and Full Inclusion. The students with special needs are educated with the former teaching method in regular classes for a whole or half-day in which the student might go for more intensive instructional sessions such as speech and language therapy, occupational or physical therapy, psychological, and social services.

Whereas, in the “full inclusion”, the students with special needs are educated along with the students without special needs who are provided with general education while maintaining appropriate supports and services.

Inclusive classrooms are the result of the teachers mastering the art of differentiated instruction.
