It is rightly quoted, “The optimistic mind achieves more and lives happier.” Optimism in children not only helps in overcoming failure but also helps in improving self-esteem.

Hallmark Public School, counted among the Top 10 CBSE schools Panchkula provides you with some tips to encourage optimism in children:

Quit Complaining Yourself

It is very important to quit complaining about yourself before you teach the child to be optimistic. When you start focussing on positive aspects and start discussing it with your children, they will eventually turn out to be optimistic. Start a dinner table practice with your family where you all discuss one good thing and one bad thing that happened that day, later share one thing that makes you hopeful for tomorrow.

Give Them Age-Appropriate Tasks

It is very important that you trust your child with certain tasks in order to make them feel worthy. Form a To-do list for your child every day and tell them to perform those tasks. This will help them feel independent and worthy which will, in turn, help them to be optimistic. Keep in mind that the tasks provided to them should be according to their age.

Let Them Take Risk

Every parent wishes to protect their child from getting or feeling hurt. But sometimes in their effort to do so, they end up holding them back from opportunities. It is very important to expose the child to certain situations that will need them to take a risk. It prepares them to approach worse situations with an optimistic mindset.

Let Them Solve Their Problems

It is very common for parents to intervene in their child’s matter and advocate for them but this does more harm than benefit your child. Let your child solve their own problems. In this way, you are encouraging them to stand up for themselves and to find out constructive solutions to their problems which makes them feel optimistic about themselves.

Embrace Their Struggle

At times when children encounter difficulty during a task, they tend to give up and feel miserable about themselves. At this time, it is essential that you react with positivity and embrace their struggle.

The team of teachers at Hallmark Public School, the Best CBSE school Panchkula encourages optimism in each child and helps them become a better version of themselves.

School reviews

4.3 out of 5

In this school, students are their utmost priority. Though we had a small journey with this school we are very thankful to the school management and teachers for showing support. The syllabus structure is in such a way that kids learn without any burden (better than any NCR school syllabus). I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

We are extremely delighted and proud of our young companions of Hallmark who have successfully passed the CBSE Class-X Examinations with 100% Results and all 1st Divisions! Heartiest Congratulations to Kanishka Garg for outscoring the previous year’s result with 98.2% marks and being the Subject Topper in all five subjects! It’s indeed a time to rejoice and celebrate the hard work, determination, and commitment of all Hallmarkites, their mentors, and parents.

Principal

At Hallmark, I have been grooming myself as a good parent. Now, I firmly believe that a person’s character is built not only by academic and mental stimulation but also by participation in extracurricular activities. My children have instilled in themselves various valuable life skills such as discipline, confidence, teamwork, time management, etc. through their participation in quite a lot of competitions individually as well as as a part of a team. They have worked in really relaxed situations as well as situations where they were under extreme pressure. Their upbringing at Hallmark Public School has bestowed upon them strong work ethics, constantly reminding them that success cannot be achieved without commitment and hard work. Kudos to the dedicated leaders and staff of Hallmark!
