Written by Eric Carle, it is a picture book. It presents a story about a young caterpillar who eats a variety of fruits before emerging into a beautiful butterfly. The kids learn about metamorphosis, different fruits, and counting while reading this book.

Written and illustrated by Theodor Geisel under the name Dr. Suess, The Cat in the Hat has an important lesson for kids – beware of who you let into your house. The story is about two kids who are all alone at home and let a stranger come inside. It is all fun and games in the beginning when suddenly things get out of control. They try and find ways to clean everything up before their mother comes back.

Charlotte’s Web

Charlotte’s Web is a children’s novel, written by E. B. White and illustrated by Garth William. A heartwarming story about love and friendship, the book is an all-time classic. Children will learn a lot of new words and the reality of the world.
